Social Media Executive

Bournemouth | Broadcast Media & Tech Recruiter | Permanent 

Reporting to the Head of Marketing you will be responsible for and have ‘ownership’ of social media / digital marketing channels. You will also be heavily involved with company Brand management and work closely with recruitment consultants from a personal branding perspective within the Fintech and Broadcast media industries.

You’ll be someone with a keen eye for detail and grammatical correctness, strong business acumen and exquisite people skills.

Digital Marketing experience is highly advantageous; however, we also covet transferable skills and value the right mindset, a hunger to learn and personal experience. Key competencies include:

Knowledge, Skills & Ability:

  • Digital marketing experience, ideally in a B2B/sales environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of marketing principles, ideally demonstratable
  • A passion for writing; content production/blogging/social posting – a journalistic approach
  • Experience developing social media channels (LinkedIn priority)
  • Ability to manage projects, work to defined objectives and time-plan accordingly
  • Research strengths; keen to seek out, obtain and learn new information
  • High attention to detail – appreciation for brand and quality


  • Design skills: Adobe Creative suite, video/audio production, animation etc.
  • Interest in psychology, mindsets, reputation management and how people ‘tick’
  • Experience with marketing tools: email, automation, scheduling, CRM, etc.
  • Experience with analytics and marketing measurables, e.g., Google Analytics
  • Appreciation for current marketing concepts, strategies, and the need to quickly adapt
  • Marketing-related qualifications, e.g., CIM qualified
  • Interest in the latest technologies; finance and or broadcast media & entertainment
